Flarely

Getting started

Flarely runs Playwright checks for you and tells you, or your coding agent, exactly why one failed. Three ways in: an MCP server for agents, a CLI for terminals and CI, and a dashboard.

1. Create an account and a token

Sign up, confirm your email, then open API tokens and create one. Tokens have three scopes: read, write (create and edit checks) and run. A token can be limited to one project. It is shown once.

2. Pick a way in

Coding agent over MCP

claude mcp add --transport http flarely https://mcp.flarely.app/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $FLARELY_TOKEN"

Then ask for a check: "write a check that sign-up works on https://staging.example.com". The agent creates it, runs it, reads the failure context if it fails, edits, and reruns. See MCP.

CLI

npx @flarely/cli push ./checks --name "Sign-up works" --run --base-url https://staging.example.com

See CLI.

Dashboard

Create a project, add a check with the inline editor, press Run. The run page shows results, steps, screenshots and an "Open trace" button.

3. Keep it running

Set a default BASE_URL on the check, then a schedule. Add a Slack channel or an email under Alerts. Add a deploy hook so every deploy runs the checks against the deployed URL. See schedules and alerts.
